BMX XXX is a BMX video game developed by Z-Axis and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was released on the Xbox, Playstation 2, and Gamecube in 2002. It was originally developed to be a sequel to Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, (hence why it shares a few songs with the GBA title, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 3) but due to the crowded action sports market and the commercial success of the Grand Theft Auto series, they added adult content to stand out in the market, leading to a M for Mature rating. It was a commercial and critical failure.
