Band Hero 2 is a cancelled game in the Guitar Hero series that was supposed to release some time after Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock in 2010. It is the sequel to the 2009 game Band Hero. On June 12th 2023, in an interview with former Neversoft employee Chris Vance, he confirmed that Band Hero 2 was a real project, and one of the songs that would've been included is the live version of "Hocus Pocus" by Focus.[1] And on December 3rd 2024, Guitar Hero YouTuber and streamer A Wise Moose acquired an early alpha build to Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock dated December 1st 2009.[2] The leaked build included songs from the now cancelled Band Hero 2 that never saw the light of day. It is confirmed that these songs are meant to be in Band Hero 2 because the songs are categorized as such. The list of songs available in that December 1st 2009 build is seen below. (Focus - "Hocus Pocus" is not included in this build, but would've likely ended up in the final version of Band Hero 2 if it ever saw the light of day.)[3]
