Bee Gees were an Australian band formed in 1958 by brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. The trio were especially success in 1960s and 1970s as a popular music act, and later prominent performers of the Disco music era in late 1970's. The band sang recognisable three-part tight harmonies: Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of the earlier hits; Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the late 1970's and 1980's. The band received the critics the title of The Disco Kings.
