Fort Minor was a hip hop side project by American musician and rapper of the band Linkin Park Mike Shinoda. The side project started in 2004 and stopped in 2006, and it was at this time that he released his first and only album from the project, called "The Rising Tied", an album that contains the hit song "Where'd You Go". 9 years later, the side project returned with a single called "Welcome" and stopped again in 2017. In 2018, Shinoda ended up debuting his first solo work outside of Fort Minor, which indicates that the project has come to an end.
