Gloria Estefan

Gloria María Milagrosa Estefan (September 1, 1957) is a Cuban-american singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman. She began her musical career as leader of the band Miami Sound Machine between 1977 and 1988, and in 1987 the band changed its name to Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine. Gloria Estefan has also won the Grammy Awards 8 times, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom (Class of 2014), and was named among Billboard and VH1's 100 greatest artists of all time.
