Kaoma was a French-Brazilian band formed in 1988 and disbanded in 2017. The band was known for music genre Lambada, which emerged in 1980 in the northern region of Brazil. With the single Lambada (Chorando Se Foi), the band managed to reach the Top 100 in the world music charts. Apparently, the song is a cover of the song Llorando Se Fue, performed by Los Kjarkas.
